• A 30-minute guided walkthrough of the 2026 NMJL card highlights, key changes, and early strategy ideas
• Open play using the new card, with light instructor support as needed
• Time to test hands, ask questions, and get comfortable with new combinations
• A room full of fellow Chicago mahjong players ready to dive into the new year

2026 NMJL cards will be available for purchase at the event.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Half Acre’s menu, so grab a beer, settle in, and make an afternoon of it.

Note: This event is not a beginner lesson. All attendees should already feel comfortable with basic American mahjong gameplay.
