The Lucky League: Competitive League
Our next league is here!
For the 2026 season, The Lucky League is introducing a high-tempo, competitive format designed to separate the sparrows from the dragons.
Four Games. Two Hours. This season, pace is part of the play. Each session consists of four official games—and every point counts toward your season standing.
The Open Draw. We’re tearing down the walls. With our new open seating format, the luck of the draw begins before the first tile is even flipped. You’ll face new rivals every week, testing your strategy against every style of play in the league.
Eight Weeks to Glory. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Track your stats, climb the ranks, and keep your eyes on the purse. The prizes have never been bigger, and the competition has never been faster.
Brunch & Play. Your ticket is your pass to the Custom League Menu. Each player enjoys their choice of a signature brunch snack or a handcrafted drink to fuel the competition.

Galentine's Day Open Play & Mahjong 102 at Barcocina West Town
Grab your gals and your tiles. Join us for Galentine’s Mahjong Night at Barcocina West Town on Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30pm. Choose Open Play for a social night of mahjong with no instruction, or Mahjong 102 for guided play and next-step strategy. Both options include a drink and a selection of appetizers. Same festive vibe, two ways to play.

Your $80 ticket includes one Dovetail beer and a 2025 National Mah Jongg League card to take home and use all year.
Mahjong 102 at Pizzeria Serio
You’ve learned the basics — now it’s time to build on them (with pizza). Join us for Mahjong 102 at Pizzeria Serio on Wednesday, March 4 at 7pm. This intermediate class is designed for players who understand the fundamentals and want to deepen their skills through guided play, strategy, and scoring. Your $70 ticket includes a pizza and salad buffet, an alcoholic drink ticket, and unlimited fountain drinks.
Mahjong 101 at Bitter Pops
Tiles + taps = a perfect match. Join us at Bitter Pops on Tuesday, March 10 at 6:30pm for Mahjong 101, a beginner-friendly class that teaches the basics of American mahjong in a relaxed taproom setting. Your ticket includes your first beer, a 2025 National Mah Jongg League card to take home, and 10% off food. We’ll bring the tiles — you bring the curiosity.
Mahjong 101 at Burning Bush Brewery
Discover your newest hobby at Burning Bush Brewery! Join us for a welcoming Mahjong 101 class designed for total beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of American mahjong in a fun, social setting. Your ticket also includes a drink to sip while you play.

Rallies & Racks with SPF
SPF and The Mahjong Society team up for Rallies & Racks — a four-week Monday night series combining pickleball and mahjong. Join us Mondays at 7pm from January 19 through February 9 for beginner pickleball classes and Mahjong 101 & 102. Two games, new skills, and a great excuse to get out of the house. Participants receive 10% off food and drinks.
